Joseph G. Divra

Founder Pastor Joseph G. Divra stands as part of the spiritual foundation of First Haitian Free Church of Nazarene by Faith. His faithfulness, leadership, and witness helped shape the church's early life and its enduring devotion to prayer, holiness, and the preaching of the Gospel.

We honor his legacy with gratitude, remembering the seed of faith and service that helped establish this church family in Orlando.

We give thanks for the leaders God used to build this house of worship and for the generations of faith that continue because of that foundation.

Our Foundation

Who We Are

The First Haitian Free Church of Nazarene by Faith is a vibrant, Spirit-filled Haitian congregation rooted in the heart of Orlando, Florida. We are a people who have chosen to actively trust God — even when we cannot see the outcome.

We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord — crucified, risen, and coming again. Every Sunday, we gather to worship in holiness, hear the preached Word, pray for one another, and go out to share the Gospel with the world around us.

We pursue God daily through prayer, fasting, and the study of Scripture. We trust the Holy Spirit to lead us in preaching the Gospel to every person — because bringing people to Christ is the heart of everything we do.
